When Marion Turner emailed us about her band mate, we could hardly believe what we read.
The Cigar box guitar has arrived in Australia and is screaming some major mojo in the hands of Steve Plater!

They are based on the Diddely bow, a traditional one stringed instrument created from a large cigar box that conjures up images of that post depression earthy sound from black street corner performers which clearly adds a strong edge to the music heard on this album.
Not only does this work of art instrument sound great, it looks cool and attracts major attention when Steve cranks them up at gigs.
This album, dominated by mostly originals, written by Steve and Marion, brings you this live recording with no overdubs, 12 tracks of awesome raw and gritty blues!
